Press release from Cave campaign: In a triumphant effort to quell the rumors, our hard working councilmom stepped out of her usual role of first seconder to repeatedly demonstrate she had read some of the packet. Aides had helpfully used a pink highlighter to mark opportunities for constituent 'service' (if you know what we mean...), making them easier to flip to amongst all the numbers and what Cave likes to call 'facties'. By the time the night was over, she had a vinyl-clad lock on several votes from residents who had previously voted for her.
